A 5.1 earthquake Friday night at 9:09pm centered in the Orange County community of La Habra was felt all across Southern California including in San Diego County. Some minor damage was reported close to the epicenter including some water main breaks in Fullerton which is about 3 miles south of the epicenter.
The earthquake was among at least three striking in La Habra in slightly more than one hour. A magnitude-3.6 earthquake struck at 8:03 p.m. and a magnitude-3.4 earthquake at 9:11 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of gas leaks in the Rowland Heights area and some scattered minor damage.
