Gunshots in La Jolla, Man Surrenders

Gunshots in La Jolla, Man Surrenders
Posted Friday, October 18th 2013 @ 12pm  by Mark Evans

Part of a La Jolla apartment building was evacuated after two gunshots were fired inside a rental unit. The person living next door saw a bullet hole in his wall and told a co-worker about it when he arrived at the office today. That co-worker called police and they surrounded the apartment waiting for the man to come out. He was seen pacing back and forth in his apartment but no weapon was visible. He eventually surrendered peacefully. It happened in the 3200 block of Via Marin.
