A gunman is still on the run after opening fire on a couple outside a liquor store in Lemon Grove. Deputies say the couple had just pulled into the parking lot of the Keg-And-Bottle liquor store on Massachussetts Avenue just before 7:00 Wednesday night when an unknown man jumped in the backseat.
They say he pulled a gun and demanded cash before getting out and firing several rounds, hitting the passenger. The passenger suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment.
Deputies say the gunman got away with an unknown amount of cash. Call crime stoppers if you have information.
