A section of Oceanside beach was closed following reports of a Hammerhead shark Tuesday morning.
A beach goer reported seeing the shark at approximately 8:30am and a couple hours later by other people including a lifeguard who saw the shark in the water after hearing shouts of "shark!".
A fisherman was able to get some video of the hammerhead, see his Instagram post below.
The section of beach closed, from Harbor Drive and Wisconsin Avenue, was reopened about 2:30pm after there were no more sightings and a search by lifeguards in the area turned up nothing.
