OCEANSIDE - A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, in Thursday night's multi-state Powerball lottery drawing was sold at an Oceanside market and is worth $1,079,602.
A ticket sold in Florida had all six numbers and is worth $150 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.
Two other tickets had five numbers, but missed the Powerball number. One was sold in Colorado and the other in Maryland. They are each worth $1 million.
California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
A Match 5 Winners Power Play ticket was sold in Indiana and is worth $2 million.
The numbers drawn were 19, 25, 29, 36, 48 and the Powerball number was 12.
The drawing was the ninth since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.
The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
