Street Scene – Tonight and tomorrow – It’s back where it all started, the streets of downtown San Diego. Starts at 4pm. Line-up features Black Eyed Peas - and 39 other bands including Modest Mouse, Busta Rhymes, Silversun Pickups, Etc.

Danger Kitty, Belly UP 9PM

Free outdoor movie under the stars at Liberty Station in Point Loma. This week’s film, Top Gun, begins at dusk. Also, a free concert by The Heroes, will play too.

Sunday August 30th:

Bike the Bay, 7am. A fun 25 mile ride around San Diego bay…highlight, your chance to bike across the Coronado Bridge. Embarcadero Marina Park South is the meeting spot.

Wicked, The Musical. San Diego Civic Theatre. 6:30pm.

Target Free Family Day and Festival: Alexander Calder and Richard Avedon
12pm-4p.m, San Diego Museum of Art. Free admission. Art making activities, performances, demonstrations and tours.

Good weekend to check out the free Sunday summer series of concerts at various locations around the county. La Jolla Cove, Coronado at Spreckels Park, Moonlight Beach, La Mesa Harry Griffen Park.
