Americans around
the world celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday. Not only did men and women serving
our country in the United States celebrate with their military family, but the
holiday spread around the world with men and women serving our country getting a
taste of home in the form of turkey, stuffing and all the sides – not to mention
pumpkin and apple pie. Whether they were in California or Virginia; Germany or
Afghanistan – Thanksgiving was something that tied Americans of all stripes
together.

bargains, but unions stepped into the muck there too. Seems

Friday sales and even convinced some people to walk off their
jobs (I would have fired them). That

there is a story-line being established in the media – that the union events
against Wal-Mart and other non-union stores “harken” back to “days before
unions.” I did a Nexus search and there are hundreds of stories
with exactly the same themes and words being used to describe the union struggle
against Wal-Mart.

story asking the simple question: How did
we get so fat? The answer is pretty easy – we’re eating more (unhealthy) food
and moving less. What’s not looked at a lot is the
connection between the gigantic (sorry) increase in food stamp and government
programs and the connection to obesity. Could it be the more you take from a
cradle to grave government the fatter you get? I think it could.

before their next salvo of rockets and missiles into
Israel. Have you heard President Obama even mention that

will be held accountable for rearming the Hamas? No, because they’re doing
