The
United Nations General Assembly ‘upgraded’ the terrorist organization – the
Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) – to the closest thing to a sovereign
state. Upon his arrival in Israel the
‘president’ of ‘Palestine’ told his people that they had a
state. Indeed they do, in Jordan
that was specifically carved out for the

To make matters
worse (as if they could get worse) Abbas, the terrorist leader of the
Palestinians and partner to the Hamas, said that one day
the Palestinian flag would fly over Jerusalem – the ‘eternal capital of
Palestine.’ President Obama’s response was quick, he
didn’t remind them that Jerusalem was the capital of Israel already, but that
Israel should stop building homes and apartments in their own
country.

And Hillary Clinton
remarked that building homes for Israelis ‘set’s back’ the peace
process. No, the Palestinians going to the UN General Assembly
and carving out a state from an already sovereign one did
that.

In response to the
Palestinian coup at the UN General Assembly the U.S. Senate, a group that can’t
agree on anything, is poised to vote this week on a
bill that would cut the $600 million ANNUAL assistance package given to the
Palestinian Authority. WHY are we giving the Palestinians (not allies of the
USA – they’re allies of our enemies in Iran and Egypt) anything at
all?
That pays
the U.S. taxpayers back for Solyndra.

On
Sunday a military court judge in the Bradley Manning trial gave another month of
motions and time for Manning, who admitted passing classified material to
WikiLeaks that posed a threat to US military lives. The purpose: to determine if
Manning’s treatment while on suicide watch (when he had to sleep nude and had to
stand at attention in the nude ONCE) rose to a level of mistreatment that would
render the charges moot. Manning should have been accused of treason and
executed.

Outside of
reminding the judge in the Manning case that she’s in charge of a military
prosecution & not a civil one, will
somebody also explain why there is a UN observer involved in the
case? The UN should be concerned about the new
Egyptian constitution that beheads gays and treats
women like the Taliban, not whether or not the US Army made Manning feel
bad.
Once
again, though, this shows that President Obama has no interest in being
Commander-in-Chief or he’d take control of this circus.

Speaking of Egypt’s new
constitution: people on the side of doing away with democracy took to
the streets on Saturday and Sunday and blocked access to the court that would
have decided if the new Egyptian constitution protected the rights of women
and minorities. Of course it doesn’t and not only is it like something right
out of Saudi Arabia.
It’s worse: had Obama not thrown out our ally there the
people of Egypt would be MORE FREE than they are today.

During
the Democrat Convention this summer we heard more than 40 speeches praise the
Clinton years and discuss how wonderful times were. Now that we’re facing the
man-made ‘fiscal cliff’ and Obama wants to raise taxes on ‘the rich’ why not
take everybody back to the Clinton-era taxes? I’m for that since
‘taxing
the rich’ only pays for about 10 days of government. Let the
‘fiscal cliff’ happen, but don’t do it just by accident and face blame – put a
bill out that repeals ALL the Bush tax cuts and let Democrats say
no.

Obama
was out on the campaign trail (oddly it was after the election) last week to
call on the rich to pay their fair share of taxes. It’s a great line and draws great
applause from his base (and people that can attend a rally with Obama in the
middle of the day – so the jobless that get joy out of other people paying
taxes), but is it true? Do the
rich not pay their fair share? The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) took a
look and it’s a myth.

According to a
piece in the U-T on Sunday, “Jillian Hanson-Cox brought Hollywood to El Cajon,
for one magical day, for the city’s annual Mother Goose Parade.” Normal fairy tales end with good
winning over evil (and this one is no different), but here Hanson-Cox will be
going to jail and the Mother Goose Parade is left to think about its
future.
Maybe
bigger is not better.

Colin Kaepernick is
the starting quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers and he’s pretty
good.
What has
people talking is not how athletically skilled he is or his ability to throw the
ball.
It’s
whether or not a quarterback should have the number of tattoos that he does and,
worse, whether it is racist to even pose the question. Everything is racist
now.
