There
was a shooting at a San Diego movie theater and there were almost IMMEDIATE
comparisons between Aurora, CO (Batman) and Newtown, CT (school shooting). It was a domestic violence incident and the
guy was killed. This event won’t be
wasted, though, as pages were dedicated to it and I suppose we’re going to
outlaw movies?
A retired Newport Beach police officer – who is only
51-years-old – was sentenced to nine years –
YEARS in prison after killing somebody after a DUI crash. This
state needs to do more than slap people on the wrist when they kill after
drinking and driving. How is anybody
retired at 51 by the way? The
crash happened last year so she was only 49 when it happened.
Jerry
Brown and other are “stunned” that the latest report from the state treasury
shows that the income tax increase not only did not increase revenue, but
revenue actually FELL in the state of California.
Is anybody else
shocked? I’m not, but somehow
politicians all seem to be indignant that not enough people are paying
taxes. Where is the GOP to stop idiotic
things from happening in Calif.? They
lost enough seats to be completely irrelevant.
When voters went to the polls in
November the people of California (some of them) gave the governor what he
asked for: a massive tax increase. Now,
after the election noise is down, people are finally figuring out why state
unions were behind the ballot measure in the numbers they were: state employee
unions are getting the 2nd highest amount of new tax dollars
– despite the budget shortfall that the treasurer found.
President Obama met with the Afghan president last week
and they came to no conclusion on how many U.S. troops would remain in
Afghanistan after 2014. What we saw,
again, is the
death of NATO troops by an Afghan military police officer.
Also,
72% of all Afghan casualties from the USA happened on Obama’s watch and there’s
not a peep out of the left. Also in Afghanistan was a bomb
blast over the weekend that left seven Afghans dead – sorry, but I
cannot weep for them when Americans have been dying for these savages and
they’re not willing to fight for their own country. Odd, though, this blast was
carried out by savages and they blew up a mosque: we can’t fire at a mosque
when savages are firing at our troops from them to be sensitive. Lunacy.
Ask
the women of Sierra Leone where the real war on women is being prosecuted –
it’s not in the USA or the West.
Infanticide in the United States killed more than one million children
in the womb last year. This is
celebrated by gals at the Democratic National Convention and other places, but
isn’t that the war on women? What’s
worse: killing would-be women or having binders of women for jobs in
government? Mississippi
is where the news war on women is happening in America all because the state
wants doctors qualified – you’d think that would be okay – not to the gang of
women.
Speaking of killing babies: the United Kingdom has
legalized abortion and now a statistic that should horrify anybody (another war
on women that has women’s groups silent because it’s all about abortion for
them): girls
targeted for infanticide in the womb. The ugliest thing ever. Not to stray too far from home, in
Mississippi women’s groups are using the ‘war on women’ moniker to lambaste a
state law that requires doctors performing abortions to have admissions
privileges at a hospital. The
only abortion clinic in Mississippi missed the deadline and can’t kill babies
at full steam. I say good – they say:
war on women.
Anybody that’s been outside over
the last few days (weeks) knows it is cold.
You
being cold or losing your flowers early will not get you a check from
government, but if you are a citrus farmer you know there are millions of
taxpayers ready to fork over about $2 billion in “disaster assistance” to help
you in your lost crop. WHY? Can’t they get insurance to cover their
loss? This is as dumb as all taxpayers
paying for New Jersey to rebuild after Sandy.
Last week before the program the
new leader (again) of the USSR signed a bill that would stop the adoption of
babies to the USA from Russia. 20,000
people took to the streets of Moscow to protest the new law & some
of them haven’t been heard from since.
Don’t protest Comrade Putin’s new USSR.
Every
now and then the Atlantic asks a good
question: is the government of China sending spies to cover organizations like
the White House and Pentagon? OF COURSE they are – they’d be idiotic not to
– just like the USA does (except we spy on our friends and lack the ability to
spy on our enemies).
If you thought the fight over the
bin Laden raid photos was over, you’re wrong.
The
American people deserve to see what was done in our name & there is NO
national security issue if the photos are released. The government says that it will inflame the
savages in the Middle East – um, worse than now? I also want the video from the longest burial
at sea.
Flu
reporting is getting a bit out of control. The top of
every hour has a new count (we’ve replaced the count of dead military members
in Afghanistan that was up the ENTIRE Bush Administration and came down when
Obama took office) with a flu counter. Now
we have stories about hospitals cracking down on workers refusing the flu shot
and tents for triage centers in places like Boston.
Every
wonder what a line to Section 8 housing looks like? Watch this video and you’ll see every luxury known
to man: cell phones (including the iPhone 5), Louis Vuitton bags, Nike tennis
shoes and all kinds of luxury cars in the
parking lot – yet they want taxpayers to pay for their homes. How about they give up their luxuries FIRST
then we’ll pay for their housing needs?
