BE HONEST – WERE YOU LITTLE SCARED ABOUT TODAY?!
According to media hype and a bogus interpretation of the Mayan calendar,
the world is supposed to end on Friday.
But some people are actually freaked out about it. You know who's not? ACTUAL MAYANS.
--There are still about 800,000 Mayans living in the Yucatan region of Mexico.
And none of them think their calendar says the world is about to end.
--As one 62-year-old Mayan told reporters, quote, "Remember 2006, and the 6-6-6 date?
A lot of people thought that something was going to happen, and nothing happened.
Why get panicky?"
--You know what they ARE worried about? A massive number of TOURISTS
heading to their sacred sites this week.
--A tourism official in the area says, quote,
"I'm worried there are going to be more people than [hotel] rooms.
The people who are coming are basically spiritual, and that could be a problem as well.
--"Because those people like to form circles to receive energy, and there is no way
to reserve space for that kind of thing at the ruin sites."
BE HONEST – WERE YOU LITTLE SCARED ABOUT TODAY?!
You really ought to read about the Mayan Calendar, BEFORE you believe claims like
"The world will end on December 21 2012".
The Mayan Calendar is a fake.
Sure, the Mayans made a calendar, but how many people realize that there were
NO MAYANS around when it started?
If you could PROVE that the first dozen chapters of the Bible were
written by a guy named Hank in the back room of a pool hall in Tucson in 1954,
do you think it would have an adverse effect on Christianity?
Oddly enough, NO ONE CARES that the Mayans just fudged together a calendar.
You really gotta be a DIE HARD fanatic to look at the facts and just shrug.
Maybe the whole Mayan thing is turning into a religion?
Of course, you could just make up whatever you want and say
"Its Mayan" and hope no one actually CHECKS.
Do yourself a favor and read about it:

HOWZ THIS FOR A POSSIBILITY?
I mean like couldn't the guy who was writing the calendar die and couldn't finish the
calendar or that something happened that they couldn't finish the calendar?
They were chipping away at stone which is a very time consuming process
(unlike computer generating calendars);
when they reached that date in 2012 they had to flee for the hills for one of two reasons:
1. They were overrun by enemies or,
2. They were overtaken by plague or some other natural disaster.
In any case they failed to predict their own end (by assimilation)
so why should anyone believe they succeeded in predicting our end???
NO end-of-the-world prediction has ever come true, ever.
And did you know that the people who are pushing the 2012 Dooms Day Prediction are
already saying that the exact date could be off by only a hundred years, or so...
This with an exact predicted date of December 21, 2012!
Go figure.
GIDDY UP!
