DO DRONES ON U.S. SOIL REPRESENT A PROBLEM FOR THE 5TH AMENDMENT? By Bob “Sully” Sullivan, Host of “THE COALITION” on NEWSRADIO – 600 KOGO.
DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH drones being used on U.S. soil?
Christopher Dorner, the homicidal former cop currently on the run from the LAPD, is a target of airborne drones on U.S. soil; using thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him.
On the ground, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.
He has allegedly already killed three people, according to police, and has a $1 million bounty on his head. Dorner, who has military training, is believed to be hiding in the wilderness of California's San Bernardino Mountains, where locating him without air support may be all but impossible.

On U.S. soil?
DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH drones being used on U.S. soil?
The type and amount of information that can be collected by drones is surprising to most people and increasing as rapidly as the other technologies in our lives.
The zoom level and quality of drone cameras far surpasses what you and I see on Google satellite imaging.
Have you searched for your house on Google Maps?! Imagine being able to see what someone is looking at on their phone in real time.
ONE SIDE SAYS – Drones on US soil against a US citizen are an abomination and reek of the demise of the USA as we know it. Maybe the LA cops only want ONE version of his story told. CONSPIRACY THEORY - as it is a CLEAR violation of the 5th Amendment – Search and Seizure?
· Once they use them for things like finding criminals, are you worried that drones will start creeping into other parts of our lives?
Drones for surveillance is one thing, but using a drone to take a criminal “out” is quite another…
When did we get absolute proof that he's guilty? I UNDERSTAND the Manifesto pretty clearly points to guilt, but whatever happened to due process?
Wow, what happened to innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt? Anyone can hack a FB page and write what ever they want, heck some people can hack bank account AND IRS info, it happened to me. All they truly have going for him is his supposed rant on FB, from what I have read, and some comments about LAPD being corrupt, when did that become news?
That police dept has been at the top of the USA worst list since the 80's.
5TH AMMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION - No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
As much as I'd like to see this guy stopped, how is this NOT Vigilante justice? And they say we're paranoid because we're afraid of Obama taking our 2nd Amendment rights. Guess what folks, that's just the start of our worries…
He thinks he has the right to take our lives too, if he wants to.

FROM THE UT
Small, unmanned aircraft systems are portable, relatively inexpensive to buy and operate, and they can save lives. It is my opinion that very soon the deployment of these devices by local public agencies across the nation will increase.
Like many agencies throughout the law enforcement community, we are continually researching the most sensible, cost-effective methods of improving public safety services to the more than 1.5 million constituents. Small, unmanned aircraft systems cost between $50,000 and $100,000 and are powered by batteries. With proper care, these devices can remain in service for decades.
As important as it is to understand what these small, unmanned aircraft systems are, it is equally important to understand what these systems are not. They are not military-type predator drones.
