A stolen Mercedes, a hearse and a police car...all vehicles involved in crashes Wednesday in the East Village.
It started when the driver of a Mercedes slammed into a car at 16th and F Street. He then hit a hearse. That hearse was given to Adam Ryckman as a gift from his former employer, The Haunted Hotel. It was parked on the side of the road when it was hit.
Police are looking for the driver of the stolen Mercedes, who ran away after the crash. Police say they also arrested a man that had nothing to do with the crash, but was found looting in the Mercedes.
In addition, as police were on the scene, another driver couldn't stop and ran into a police cruiser. No injuries were reported.
