Thousands in San Diego Walking Overnight to Prevent Suicides

The Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk on May 20-21 is the largest annual fundraising event held by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Participants from across the country will walk more than 16 miles from sunset until sunrise to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention in San Diego.  Money raised from this event supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention which funds research, offers education programs, advocates for public policy, and supports those affected by suicide.
