Tourists Robbed At Gunpoint In Lincoln Park

Three San Diego tourists were robbed at gunpoint, and two were shot in Lincoln Park Monday night.  San Diego Police say it happened in the 4700 block of Logan Avenue when three men from Chicago stopped the car to enter an address into their GPS device.

The men were approached by two gunmen, one on the passenger side and one on the driver's side, who demanded cash from them, police said. The suspects took the money, and then both shot one time into the vehicle, striking a passenger on his right index finger and the driver in his upper left arm, police said.

The driver drove to a hospital where they were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. Police are still investigating and have not released a description of the suspects.
